Available in: Axsy Mobile for Salesforce
In preparation for the upcoming Axsy Spring '25 release, the app stores will soon be updated with the Spring '25 version of the Axsy Mobile app. Once the Axsy Mobile app is updated, it will pick up a new compatibility bundle, based on the Autumn '24 release (version 8.x), until you update the feature set to Spring '25. Previously, the compatibility bundle was based on Summer '24 (version 7.x).
While your org may already be upgraded to Autumn '24, you may not have activated Axsy Code Push (Mobile Feature Sets), which controls when users actually receive the Autumn '24 feature bundles. For this reason, it's important to test and verify that users can successfully use the Axsy Mobile app with the Autumn '24 bundle within the next 14 days. This will ensure that there is no disruption when users update to the Spring '25 version of the Axsy Mobile app.
For guidance on how to check and manage your Code Push configuration, please refer to this article:
You can verify which Mobile Feature Set version your users are using by navigating to the Events console and checking the login events.
Note: If all of your users are already using an Autumn ’24 Mobile Feature Set, you do not have to run further testing.
If there are currently any scopes in your org that do not have code push enabled, or are not using an Autumn '24 feature set, then users in these scopes are not using Autumn '24 functionality. Therefore, once the app updates they will be using a feature set that hasn't been tested in your environment or specific scope.
To test the Autumn ’24 feature set, we recommend either:
- Creating a new scope with a group of test users, enabling feature sets for that scope, selecting an Autumn ’24 set, and publishing the config; or
- Enabling mobile feature sets in all scopes and choosing an Autumn ’24 set for each.
In both cases, make sure to publish the configuration so the changes apply to non-draft users. We recommend running these tests in your sandbox environments before rolling out the changes to production.
Once your org has been upgraded to Axsy Spring ’25 via the latest Managed Packages, you can then use Code Push to control when to enable and roll out Spring '25 features to your users—giving you full flexibility over the rollout timeline.
Spring '25 Mobile Feature Set will become available after installing Axsy Spring '25 Managed Package in your org.
