During Flow design and development, Flow designers can make use of the Axsy Flow Reload tool in the Axsy Mobile app to pick up changes to Flows made in the Salesforce web Flow Designer without the need to publish a new Axsy sync config and logout / login to the Axsy Mobile app after each change to a Flow.


Enabling Flow Reload

In the Axsy Mobile web app:

  1. From Settings ➔ General
  2. Ensure that Advanced Settings is enabled


  3. If necessary save and publish a new config if this setting was not previously enabled.


In the Axsy Mobile app:

  1. If a new config was published, logout and log back into the Axsy Mobile app
  2. From the main menu, select the Cog icon to open Settings
  3. Select Advanced Settings
  4. Enable Form Reload



NOTE: Form Reload works with both Flows and Axsy Smart Forms.


Reloading Flows

In the Axsy Mobile app:

  1. Launch your Flow
  2. You will see the Flow Reload icon, see example below:


Note: Your Flow must have a Screen component to expose the Flow reload icon.


If you decide to modify your Flow do so in the Salesforce web Flow Designer:

  1. Make any changes you require to your Flow
  2. Save your Flow
  3. Optionally Activate your Flow

Note: Flow Reload only works when the Axsy Mobile app is online.


In the Axsy Mobile app:

  1. Tap the Flow Reload icon



  2. Depending on whether you Activated or just Saved your Flow pick the relevant reload option
  3. Exit your Flow
  4. Launch your Flow again
  5. The web Flow Designer changes you made will now be available in the Axsy Mobile app.


Note: At the end of Flow development, do not forget to activate your Flow (if you have not already done so) and publish a new config so your design changes are available to all users.
