With Axsy Retail Execution, it is possible to configure an Assessment Indicator Definition as being optional, meaning an Assessment Task can be marked as complete even if some of the Visit KPIs for that Assessment Indicator Definition are missing values.
Configuring an Assessment Indicator Definition as Optional
Configuring an Assessment Indicator Definition as optional is done via the Salesforce Web UI:
- View the Assessment Indicator Definition you want make optional
- Select Edit under the Smart Indicator section of the page
- Check the box for Optional

Identifying Optional Assessment Indicator Definitions
When performing Inventory Check or Promotion Check tasks in the Axsy Retail Execution Mobile App, the column header for any optional Assessment Indicator Definition will include the text "(Optional)" underneath the Assessment Indicator Definition name. Also, optional Assessment Indicator Definitions will be marked with a green checkmark indicating completion even if some of its individual Visit KPIs are missing values.
