Validation formulas evaluate user input against a formula. If the input does not meet its validation requirements, an error will appear on the Form screen in the Axsy Mobile App. Depending on whether the element is a required field or not, how the error is displayed will vary.
If you have an Element that is optional but has a validation formula, an input error will only occur if the field is non-empty and does not meet the validation formula requirement. The error will display below the Element.
If you have an Element that is required (i.e. a mandatory field) and you leave it blank, an error window will prompt you to fill in the mandatory field if you try and navigate to the next screen of the Smart Form.
If you have an Element that is required and also has a validation formula, you cannot leave the field blank and will have to meet the validation formula requirement to continue with the form.
