The Related Objects tab of a Record Set displays an object tree visually representing the hierarchy and depth of objects - related to the parent object of the Record Set - that should be synced along with the parent object. This object tree can be customised through adding and removing of objects in the tree to ensure only relevant data is synced by the Axsy Mobile App.



Configuring the Object Tree

From the Related Objects tab of a Record Set, select the pencil icon next to an object to see all available related objects.



Select which related objects you would like to be included as part of sync by marking them with their checkbox. 


 

NOTE: To ensure that key app functionality cannot be broken, there are some mandatory objects that cannot be de-selected when editing the object tree.



Once selected, the object will appear in the expanded object tree and be available for configuration.



NOTE: Each object has an icon in the object tree indicating whether there is a 1-to-1 relationship (a single horizontal line) or a 1-to-many relationship (three horizontal lines) with its parent object in the tree.



General Settings

Under the General tab for each object in the tree, the following additional configuration settings are available:

  • Actions - When checked, sync the configured Actions - from the object's Page Layout - for the object.
  • Files - When checked, sync the actual file content of any files associated with the object. This setting is superseded by the Related File Content global sync setting.
  • File Limit - Sets the maximum number of files that will be synced for a record. This limit applies both if the Files checkbox (described above) is enabled or if the Related File Content global sync setting is enabled. 
  • Chatter Feed - When checked, the Chatter feed for this object is synced if Chatter is enabled for the object.


NOTE: The Files checkbox and File Limit parameters are only applicable for objects and relationships that have an underlying file or content document, e.g. the Attached Content Documents relationship. For other objects and relationships these settings have no effect.
