The Settings tab of the Axsy Mobile app in the Salesforce Web UI provides access to the Axsy Config Tool which is used for configuring the behaviour of the Axsy Mobile app. When viewing the Axsy Config Tool, selecting the Sync tab and then Settings ➔ General will present various settings related to the general sync behaviour of the Axsy Mobile app.
Offline Files
File Sync Settings
The following settings control whether or not Files are synced as part of the Axsy Mobile App's initial sync.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Related File Content | Checkbox that determines whether any files encountered in the related object trees configured for sync should have their actual File Content synced in addition to their metadata. If unchecked, files encountered in the related object tree instead have their file content synced, case-by-case, based on if the Attached Content Document relationship in the related object tree has the Files settings enabled. When Related File Content is enabled, the File Limit parameter is respected, as described in this article: Configure the Related Object Tree |
Offline File Libraries | Lookup and selection of which File Libraries should be included in Initial Sync. Unless Offline File Library Content is checked, sync will only be of the file's metadata and not the actual file content itself. |
Offline File Library Content | Checkbox that determines if the files in the specified Offline File Libraries will have their actual file content synced in addition to their metadata. |

NOTE: For any files that are not synced to the Axsy Mobile App during initial sync, users will need to first manually view those files online for them to then be cached for offline viewing.
NOTE: It is the most recent version of a file that is always synced to the Axsy Mobile App.
